We had planned a road trip camping, fishing and just generally hangin' out in the high country...starting with the Poudre River. So that didn't happen--spent a few days in South Park, where overnight temps were 65 degrees in June and the snow pack was 2% of normal; checked out the Conejo, where the fly fishing was outrageously good because there was no runoff to speak of and very low, clear water; then in northern NM the aspen trees were bare--dead or dropped their leaves already, in JUNE!...haven't been back since. As I said, too painful--where we live now is totally different. It is also changing, but I don't notice as much because it is new to me.
