is never as much rust on used vehicles. They use sand instead. And maybe the most important thing to keep in mind is that the weather here in Colorado is incredibly mild. Yes we do get dumped on occasionally, but it is usually followed by weather in the 50's and it melts fast. The front range (from Denver south on I-25 to the New Mexico border) is in what is called the "rain shadow. The big snows usually fall over the mountains and we get amazingly mild weather in those areas. The only time we get clobbered is when the snow comes up from the Gulf of Mexico. So, that is the exception more than the rule.
