5. OK, that was around 1968

I was a little kid, then, too, and everyone in my family who could vote was for WinRock. I had WR66 and WR68 pins, and maybe they're still at my mother's house. Anyway, that was quite a year-- Arkansas voted for a progressive Republican governor (the last time there was a progressive Republican governor in Arkansas), a liberal US Senator, and a racist presidential candidate.
