I was joking. I've been playing music almost continuously, playing and singing, since I was a kid, and that was a long time ago.

It was a lame attempt at an old person joke, meaning ~ I'm not forgetting things because of dementia, it must be just because my poor brain is totally worn out from overuse, doing all that work playing and singing for many decades.
