I bought a paper pattern for a Mrs. Hall (All Creatures) apron off the internet [View all]

Turns out it actually does come from England. It's a little expensive, but also includes other garments. My regular chef-type aprons keep exposing everything above the armpits to grease spatters, and this gives more coverage. I have some vintage-look fabric that should suit the pattern perfectly.

Tracking it, it seems it's going to be stuck in Chicago going through Customs for 3 days. Apparently, nobody there sews - it's an apron pattern, not military secrets. They need to talk to their mothers (ok, their grandmothers). Maybe they could translate.

I really hope it isn't in metric - that could be the final straw.
