I totally loved it! My friends and I used to laugh our asses off at all the gruesome death scenes in it, which was unusual at the time. In fact, I think it was the first time I remember seeing real gore in a video game. As a lifelong lover of horror films and books, even then, The Immortal was something truly special and groundbreaking to play. Especially in the 16 bit Genesis/Super Nintendo era.

I was never able to beat it when I was a kid. Too hard. So about eight years ago I played it again on an emulator, and cheated using an online walkthrough that I found. Great game!

Truly awesome that you were a part of creating it! Thanks for all the macabre laughter you gave me and my friends!
