They were not made to last though they would have if I took care of them.

I used Sculpey which is a pliable polymer material like plasticine that can be kneaded and shaped. When I had the shape I wanted I baked them in the oven at 200 degrees for 20 minutes. The sculpey gets hard when it’s baked. I have a few serious sculptures that I’ve kept for years. What I do is use something like aluminum foil packed tightly into a ball and put the sculpey over it.
