2. This is another enchanting painting

It’s like a painting of a storybook house with it’s wonderful country architecture. I love what you did the roof, giving it an aging look of an old time country house. Your brushwork for the details of the stones In the house and the wall is really well done, making the painting warm and inviting. The shadows are also lovely and interesting and add perspective and include a light source. I very much like the perspective of looking up at the house from the road too.

Your treatment of the trees has improved a great deal. The contrast between the light background tree and the closer darker one In the upper right by just using washes is showing a minimalistic sophisticated usage of your medium. Your work shows you’re growing ease with using the paints. Perhaps that’s because you’re painting quick studies of the subject. The trees on the left are more refined than what I’ve seen in some of your other paintings. I can see your development.

It’s a wonderfully warm painting.
