2. From what I've read the horrors of WWI and decay

and despair in post-war Berlin also greatly influenced his art as well as the Nazi regime. Glad I've time to revisit and learn some more about Grosz. I didn't realize he was in the US and NY after WWII and into the 1950s.

This version is a bit lighter and the details clearer, it's a very powerful statement.
