It's just that when I was young I flirted with art, flirted in the most superficial and brief way, and very soon recognized I am talentless, so we can all be grateful for that. But some things make an impression at certain moments of our lives and I propose here to post three times - being a couple of examples in each of the three.
Looking over what you true artists do here, please know I am in awe of your work and sincerely hope you won't be insulted by this thread, which will be *very* compartmentalized and finite and soon GONE.
This first post is of two cartoons: A Quixote by Jim BERRY, which I've looked for exhaustively and unsuccessfully on the net, but scanned from my scrapbook, and the other by Dik BROWNE of Hagar the Horrible, just for the saucy joy of it.
The second will be of two by the poet/artist/fantacist William BLAKE. And the third might be my own scribbles that led to my quitting.
