...with them, I supplied Germs with the films of the color seps and pantone numbers, and he was present for the printing.
My son has worked out of their shop, doing etchings on a printing press which, unfortunately, they sold after Richard died.
MM's main thing is doing serigraphs, and some giclee printing which is sometimes enhanced with additional screen printed colors.
Since Richard's passing, they have been struggling to survive, because, without his leadership and expertise, the people running the place - who have no background in printmaking - are directionless...at least, that's what it looks like to me.
They still have good printmakers to do the prints, but the management is a little lost and floundering.
I hope they can pull things together and make it work again - that's a big reason they did this suite of prints, to raise some funds to continue operating.
On edit: Don't get me wrong, if you were thinking about a place to get fine art serigraphs produced, I highly recommend Modern Multiples. The printmakers are excellent, and absolutely know what they are doing.
2nd edit: For example, they did a 144 color serigraph that faithfully reproduced a painting by Robert Williams, it was incredible to behold.
