1. I saw a video of a fawn who would be put in a person's yard by its mother.

Then the mother would go forage and come back a few times a day - i think to nurse the fawn. I think deer have reassess that humans are no longer a predators and a garden is a safe place. The elk in the town of Banff Alberta certainly think the town is free of predators. They overrun the place. Animals are learning. Wait until they find out what we are doing to the climate.

We have.a lot of deer births in our neighborhood. Twice in our front and back yards. Moms "park" them. Nanuke Jul 16 #2
