The in law parents took us for two weeks every other year in July.
In return, we got to be their servants and put up with their BS. The constant debate was between the married kids. "It's your turn today with them!"
I was able to escape eventually.

Actually, I've never eaten poutine, lol, and here in Michigan, maple everything is everywhere.
