And, he reminded me of one that I enjoyed for several years before I took part in one production of it.
It was Theater In The Park's production of 'A Christmas Carol', usually performed at the Carolina Auditorium in Raleigh, North Carolina. Led by Ira David Wood III, they would put on the most bawdy, out of control, hysterical version of the classic and it became justly famous in its own right. (David is the father of actress Evan Rachel Wood, btw. When she was a baby, I got to hold her for all of five seconds at a party once. I also was there at TIP when he met her mother. She and I were both auditioning for something at TIP.)
I suspect that there are a few here who enjoyed this holiday tradition. I sure did.
