I just sit down on the sectional in the family room and, whoosh!, he's on my lap. Using gentle nips, he forces me to pet him with my right hand while he buries his head in the crook of my left elbow. After a while he just gets up, moves over and starts cleaning himself. Then I get up and change my shirt because it is soaked with drool. This is cat affection.
