My visiting this home was a DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution) rendezvous.

The host was kind enough to share photos and the history of the house remodeling process. They had discovered doors with handles between the 2nd floor and the ceiling on the 1st floor. They found a dugout with removable floor in a pantry.

I love museums, especially living history style museums.
