7. You don't really expect this group of Congressional Democrats to actually be bold in their resistance to Trump, do you?

I'm just not seeing it. That's not bashing, that's expressing an opinion formed by observation. As long as the goal is to avoid controversy and protect their own interests and seats, we will not see any real meaningful resistance to Trump, or any effort to get him out.

We had a chance, four years ago, to pack the court, guaranteeing the preservation of Roe and squelching the ridiculous Presidential immunity ruling, which would have been worth the risks involved in breaking the filibuster. We could have moved much faster with Trump's insurrection trial, branded him as an insurrectionist, jailed him and we'd have a much different perspective now, and more than likely a Democratic controlled government instead of the GOP.

So I don't expect much from these Democrats in this Congress.
