6. I'm thankful every day I'm no longer a professor

Retiring from the university was a lifesaver. The GOP’s war on higher education has been brewing for ages, and now it’s reaching its boiling point. What used to be a rewarding career is now a nightmare. I can’t even imagine the frustration of those who just spent six years in graduate school only to become targets of this absurdity.
