5. Here in Birmingham, Alabama....

There is much concern. The university of Alabama at Birmingham is the largest employer in the state and has the largest amount of NIH dollars. UAB expects to lose big based on the decision to reduce indirect cost rates from 55% or 60% to 15%. I know that the administrations of the University of Alabama system in general and UAB specifically are burning up the phones of Tuberville and Britt. Will it do any good? We will see but I think Josh is right that Trump will use this as a way to get consolidations from universities so they won't go against him. UAB will play nice. They have to or hundreds of millions of dollars evaporate from the system, the city, and the state.

The man is evil. Pure evil.
