When is the last time breaking news was revealed through one of these theatrical, stage-managed productions?

Reporters shouting over each other in a crowded room trying to get the press secretary to say something controversial is not news reporting.

It's nothing more than an "us vs them" reality show. News, that is, real news, is not made at these press briefings.

These reporters would be better utilized investigating and reporting on real news that actually affects people's lives.
