Yes on the one hand, hoarding resources loads on survival.
Which may mean destroying everyone around them.
Those with empathy and cooperation DNA may not survive.

On the other hand, there is merit and survival in banding together
for mutual aid and protection. A tribe is stronger than an individual.

The rich cannot see it. They are so used to having every single need
and want met instantly. They think money will cure every problem
which it usually does in a civilized society.

But if they are isolated in bunkers how do they stop a Hitler invasion?
Or invent a vaccine to stop a pandemic? They are not rich enough
to replicate an entire federal government.

I guess it will be interesting Darwinian experiment.
Most of us may not live to see the results.
