that we need them doing will need to pay taxes, pay filing fees for this wonderful paperwork, perhaps legal fees, and $7,000? Many of them are trying to support families either here or elsewhere. That's a lot of money for them and there still is no guarantee of safety, We also are telling them you can never have any benefits of any kind even if you aquire legal status and keep your nose clean for the rest of your hardworking (that we depend on for our own benefit) life.
We would be giving them 'dignity' while formalizing their permanent low status.
