Former Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) is questioning President Trumps decisions to pick amateur isolationists for senior policy jobs at the Pentagon and to fire Gen. Timothy Haugh, the head of the National Security Agency and U.S. Cyber Command without explanation.
If decades of experience in uniform isnt enough to lead the N.S.A. but amateur isolationists can hold senior policy jobs at the Pentagon, then what exactly are the criteria for working on this administrations national security staff, McConnell said in comments to The New York Times.

McConnell and other Senate Republican defense hawks have signaled their concern about the Trump administrations decisions to hire Michael DiMino to serve as deputy assistant secretary of defense for the Middle East and Andrew Byers to serve as deputy assistant secretary of defense for South and Southeast Asia.

except 3 (RFK Jr., Gabbard, Hegseth) and if he had voted to convict after either or both impeachments (along with the rest of his compatriots), we wouldn't be here in this position.
On a related note, I did hear the news about one of his 97-year old relatives who
hatched 4 offspring here in Philly (they hatched back at the end of February but were introduced to the world this past week)!

I did actually see her just over 15 or so years ago (~2009) crawling around her outdoor enclosure, which was the last time I was at the zoo (right before the elephants were removed).
