2. There's no such thing as a 'sanctuary city.'

There is nowhere in the United States where undocumented immigrants have ‘sanctuary’ – including Democratic-controlled cities and states; undocumented immigrants can be detained anywhere by Federal authorities.

That authorities in Democratic-controlled jurisdictions lawfully elect not to enforce Federal immigration laws – consistent with the Constitution – does not afford undocumented immigrants ‘sanctuary.’

The Constitution has long held that states and local jurisdictions cannot be compelled to enforce Federal laws – including Federal immigration laws.
