7. Newer automotive engines care less about ethanol gas

older engines, not so much. Most of the problems arise from the types of aluminum used not agreeing with the alcohol content.

In my older race bikes i have to run specialty race gas, however i would love to run E-85 due to it's high octane properties and it's clean burn. It also cools combustion temps which is a great thing for high compression. It does mix well with two-stroke oil, however the carb and engine cases wouldn't agree with it, which sucks. It's a $1.70 a gallon, and Sunoco 110 is $11 a gallon...
