Religious feudalism...The right has always been against progressive and it goes back 400 years.

The religious and the elites(baron and elites) have lost most of their power these past few centuries and they want it back. This is how they get it back as they play to peoples hate and wish to go back to tradition. Tradition frankly is the elites controlling everything and the little guy slaving away for them.
