Harvard Law School's ranking varies by publication, but the most recent U.S. News & World Report 2025 ranking places it at No. 6 (tied with Duke University School of Law) in the nation.
In the 2024 U.S. News ranking, it was tied for No. 4.
It ranks No. 2 globally in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings by Subject 2025 for Law.
It ranks No. 1 globally in the QS World University Rankings for Law and Legal Studies 2025.
