He can certainly act or speak against it, but if he believes these officers would betray the Constitution out of self-interest to give him loyalty, he is beyond delusional and far into the blithering mad idiot areas. I think you’re right — this certainly isn’t Russia’s for-profit officer corps and general staff giving him the eye.
