Bill Clinton gave us temporary prosperity by going republican light on the economy. The telecommunications act, allowing big companies to merge into monopolies and supposed modernizations asked for by big business and given to them. So he balanced the budget only for republicans to blow it up again. He was very affable but he needed to use his veto pen. Rich people became obscenely wealthy because of deregulation and lack of prosecutions. We are the worse for it and blaming boomers is disingenuous.
