Jul 2025

I’ve paid nearly £10k in visa fees and cannot change jobs with any sort of ease, so I’m wildly overqualified and severely underpaid in a very expensive country that is increasingly unfriendly to immigrants.
I also have a PhD and a research law degree, so I’m not exactly a run of the mill job seeker
