I think ALL the democrats need to hold press conferences and tell the American people what this CR will do to them. Dems need to holler it from the rooftops if they're ever going to be heard over the roar of the republican owned media.

Think people have heard enough "sky is falling" fear, from both sides. The CR is probably more protective of SS, Medicar

The CR funds discretionary spending, which is by definition not Social Security and Medicare.

Yeah but do we even know if Schumer is a No vote? He's useless as the leader but I'm not even sure he's a No.

IIRC, there's some rule technicality in the Senate that might lead him to vote yes for this C.R.

Doesn't a CR just extend the current budget temporarily to keep the government funded?
