I know the press were not kind to FDR during his first campaign, and I know the press has always supported wealthy titans after all, they owned the press.

The Fairness Doctrine provided a balance to the extent that we would consider fair.
But in the late 90's the rules and regs were thrown out under Clinton and by the time 2000 elections rolled around the fix was in, Fairness ship long since sailed and one by one, big media Moguls started gobbling up one network after another and the rest is history.
every single one is owned by the Uber wealthy elite, whose entire agenda is the same club as the convicted felon psychopath they installed twice.
