(1,163 posts)36. FYI, Al Gore got the most votes nationally and in Florida
Never forget that several hundred thousand legally cast ballots form the largest and most heavily democratic voting counties in Florida sit uncounted in the Florida archives. As someone who spent 15 of my 24 years working on dem election campaigns in Florida, it's beyond all reasonable doubt that Al Gore got the most votes in Florida in addition to nationally. It was the corrupt repug Rehnquist 5 who appointed Bush against the will of the people. The pro Bush media still refuses to tell this important story.
