The Dworkin Report - This is Why It's Impossible to Trust Corporate Media

Seriously.

This week, Trump tried to use Canada, Greenland, and the Panama Canal to distract us from his horrible cabinet picks—plus the fact Elon is actually the one in charge.

In the process, Donald reminded us how clueless he is on foreign policy, offended our allies, and embarrassed America on the world stage. So of course corporate media is hard at work, attempting to clean up this whole mess for Trump.

CNN, NY Times, Reuters, BBC, AP and others ran headlines legitimizing his absurd lies. But the worst, by far, came from The Washington Post, who ran this story just yesterday: “Trump team says Canada, Greenland, Panama comments are part of a broader plan.”

This is a sad attempt to explain away Trump’s unhinged behavior. They’re painting a picture that Trump is playing 3D chess, when in reality he’s playing Candy Land while eating the game pieces.

It was only two weeks ago when the owner of WaPo—Jeff Bezos—met with Trump at Mar-a-Lago. And now, the paper just so happens to be trying to justify Donald’s bogus arguments, acting like the root of this nonsense is brilliant gamesmanship.
