Senate Republicans FINALLY Push Back Against A Trump Nominee - Glenn Kirschner

Trump has been attempting to destroy all institutions of government since taking office in January. The question we are forever asking is, when will enough be enough for congressional Republicans? Will they ever stand up to Trump's democracy-busting lawless.

I don't think anyone is prepared to declare that we have reached a turning point, but maybe congressional Republicans are at least creeping in the right direction.

Senate Majority Leader John Thune just announced that Trump should withdraw his nominee, Paul Ingrassia, to head up the Office of Special Counsel. Senator Rick Scott has also announced that he won't support this Trump nominee.

Heck, even Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene is breaking with Trump on the release of the Epstein flies and on affordable health care.

What is the takeaway from these fissures in the Republican Party? - Glenn Kirschner - 10/21/2025.
