An elderly business owner is taking legal action after he says federal immigration agents violently slammed him to the ground and detained him during a raid at his car wash. ICE will try and wiggle out of law suits claiming qualified immunity shields them from liability even though such brutal acts were beyond their legal authority. They will get sympathetic judges to dismiss cases or delay trials indefinitely to make such cases moot. They will continue to escalate attacks against non-citizens and citizens with impunity until they provoke a violent response. And we know what happens next.
