There was enough information on the news and in podcasts about what the BBB would do and the impact it would have, especially on the Red states.

That was one of the reasons that they would not meet with their constituents prior to the passing of the BBB and definitely not afterwards.

They are selling this lie because their constituents are going to be impacted and now some of them are waking up to the pain it is going to cause them.
Probably their polling is telling them that there might be hell to pay with the rational members of their constituents come voting time.
