Georgians have made their voices loud and clear: NO CUTS TO MEDICAID.
Im speaking on the Senate floor to oppose the Washington Republican budget because its nothing more than Robin Hood in reverse.
Its a moral imperative that we stop this bill from becoming law. - 04/05/2025.

Why is it that every country wealthier than us has figured out how to provide universal healthcare and education?

We need socialized medicine. If you sick, if your teeth are bad, if you need your cataracts fixed, if you need surgery treatment for cancer or for diabetes or any type of illness, it should all be there for anyone that needs it. And it should be there at no cost.

Introduced in 1883, Accident Insurance Bill in 1884 and Old Age and Disability Bill in 1889.
I wondered about this so I looked it up..Wikipedia. There are 78 countries with universal or free healthcare systems and we aint one of em. So..why not?
