Interesting that Denver Police have told the public that their officers will no longer issue traffic tickets for run of the mill offenses, but only for major traffic offenses, because they are busy enough fighting REAL CRIME. Although Crimes are being FACTUALLY reported to be much lower than in previous years.......
Trump and RepubliCON politicians are constantly telling us crimes are Way Way up, in spite of the factual statistics. They must be talking about crimes like: Walking While Black, Driving While Mexican, "Looking"Suspicious, Not able to produce a Passport and certified birth certificate when out in public or driving, etc etc etc OR..... come to think of it, the humongous increase in felonies for white collar crimes, AND Trump's and his spawns crimes, for instance, like .......selling TOP SECRET MILITARY INTELLIGENCE TO ENEMY GOVERNMENTS......or grifting ALL of the PPE in the country stockpiles, or coming into the country to supply to RED states at an enormous/ludicrous profit.......

2. We've now seen "officer safety" reach its illogical conclusion.

Gotta snap them cuffs on an 11 year old girl. There’s multiple cops, all with (weeks, cough) of training, decked out like GI Joe, each with multiple weapons, because they “didn’t know who they were dealing with.” I guess we’re to be thankful they didn’t also force her to sit on the curb like a dog after they cuffed her.

And when they find out they were wrong it’s “no harm, no foul.” Yeah, to the cops. They not only knew they would face no consequences the sheriff praised their “good police work.” If what they did comports with their training and policies, then the training and policies need to be changed.

5. Sitting on the curb???????

Aurora Colorado Police Officers, were recklessly mistaken, and pulled over a car with a black mother and her five black children, (ages4-12) and made them all lie down, face first on the hot summer asphalt. The cops had mistaken her license plate number for that of a wanted serious criminal, who was known to be a WHITE MALE.

The City councils of Aurora, Denver, Loveland etc have paid out hundreds of millions in law suits these recent years, due to their cops actions.
The most egregious is when Aurora Cops and their paramedics literally EUTHANIZED a black kid who was just innocently walking down the street and the Aurora cops deemed him "suspicious" enough to handcuff him, and while he was lying there, gave him an OD of a Serious Sedative rarely EVER used.........that one cost them TENS of millions. Several of the cop/paramedics were convicted of murder, but their sentences are slowly being overturned in courts.

Not all the cops are as disgusting as many, but if you are a minority in the front range here, it can be troublesome......

7. What the Aurora cops did was totally outrageous. I've seen the films.

They are far from the only ones. Atlanta, most of the departments in the Phoenix area, and the LA County Sheriff’s department have equal horror stories. But ordering “detainee” often without the requisite reasonable articulable suspicion of a crime, is a STANDARD power play/humiliation tactic supposedly based on the single most important thing in law enforcement: officer safety. There is almost no amount of pain inflicted, no misunderstanding of the law, no trampling of civil rights, that police departments (and police unions) won’t forgive in the interest of officer safety.

9. There is another video

I have seen, a video that was not publicized, due to the City of Aurora Cop's Horrific and Truly Sadistic "handling" of a drugged out female they detained. And, obviously there was a huge cover up, and the officers were never charged. I would describe it and what they did to her, but I guarantee, you don't even want to hear the description....it is that sick, horrific, and sadistic. Some one leaked the video, but the Media didn't want to even touch the story, investigate, or even just air a description of what the Aurora PoliceMEN subjected her to... even though they had a copy of the video.....

What do you expect from a large city, with a prominent Republican Mayor, with an out of control Police Department? A Police Dept. that has had FIVE newly hired, POLICE CHIEFS in just the past four years? The chiefs they hire, come in, look around, probably say What The Fuck, and quickly resign.....

6. Gosh my granddaughter is an officer in East Petersburg, PA.

I hope she's not this terrible. She has a cousin that's 11 and bi- racial and I'm always afraid for her if she isn't with me or her mother when she's outside
