They distract the populace with Dancing With The Stars, The Apprentice, or all other BS shows with high ratings or competing for high ratings.

When that's not enough, they control the news channels with false both-siding equivalence to make sure they control the opinions of the racist base, riding high on basic emotional reactions, and they make half the voting base believe their constant barrage of lies to keep them voting against their own self interests, and the results are: The Billionaire class (the 0.0005%) live lives of the Kings and Queens of the past in a luxurious modern way.

They bought the USSC to achieve that and they will keep bribing the corrupt fu*ks they installed there.
