I don't think Manchin is very bright. He certainly is not very interesting. He refused to say if he voted for Harris, he said that Democrats are too extreme "on guns," that Republicans need to get serious about "the budget," and that he gets along swell with Trump.

I voted against him in two primaries in the 90s. He was probably as good as WV is going to give in the 2010s, but Manchin looks out for Manchin.

Manchin voted to impeach Trump both times, and for good reason. Yet now they're "buddies". Perhaps he was "just kidding" and perceives Trump to be a zebra who will somehow change his stripes? Dream on, Joe. Your betrayal of values once espoused is beyond incredulous. So don't let the door hit ya where the Lord split ya!
