regarding Hunter's Pardon is this: for years, Trump's persona has been he can do anything illegal/immoral/outre and we let him get away with it. And nobody else can do that.

Well, Joe Biden did that (in their eyes) and got away with it. He stole Trump's shtik (gimmick).

That's it. Not the pardon, but the nerve to do what Trump's been doing.
