Trump DOJ IMPLODES as GOP Senators TURN ON BLANCHE?!?! - Meidas Touch

“Utterly Stupid, morally wrong—take your pick” is the rallying cry uttered by Mitch McConnell of Senate Republicans who have abandoned Trump and his “Acting AG” Todd Blanche rather than consider paying billions of dollars to those who assaulted law enforcement and committed seditious conspiracy against the US.

But a closer look at the presidential corruption engendered by the 2 part settlement papers, reveals just how depraved it is. Michael Popok explores proposed abuse of the DOJ’s Judgement Fund, and the hundreds of millions of dollars sought already by the Proud Boys, and at least 400 Jan6th defendants, along with the other aspect of the settlement that stick in the Senate’s craw — wiping out almost 20 years of Trump Family tax liability worth hundreds of millions of dollars. - 05/25/2026.

Despite their "outrage," reporting from their closed door meeting with Blanche revealed GOP senators are demanding Trump give them a voice in how the 5 commissioners are chosen, and asking that people convicted of violence against cops not be eligible for a payout. That's pretty weak "outrage." It looks like Trump's slush fund is a fait accompli, they're mostly arguing about the details.
