(239,689 posts)Which, as the attorney said, is pointless unless the interviewer is familiar with the case. And Maxwell has nothing to gain by revealing anything, plus she was convicted of lying.

(5,052 posts)Lawrence asked him if DOJ could subpoena for the book in the morning, and he said yes, adding, they might already have it in their possession (original or copy).
I'm not sure exactly what this means.. if they have it, they wouldn't subpoena for the one the estate is holding? If they don't get the one that the estate holds, then we could get it. I'm sure that's the last thing they'd want, so what's to stop them?

(239,689 posts)I'm not sure what this means, either. If Bondi is the one who has access to it, the last thing she'd want is for it to be released. And I certainly wouldn't trust her to release anything that would implicate TFG. Sounds to me it's up to the Democrats to execute the subpoena - and any Republicans who are angry enough to want to learn the truth. But I'm sure that we haven't heard the end of this after Lawrence's forthcoming interview with the attorney for the victims.
