Americans will be 'angry' at attacks on middle class in Trump's bill in time: Dem Rep. - MSNBC Reports

Despite a couple of defections, Trump signed his signature legislation into law on July Fourth. Rep. Glenn Ivey (D-MD) looks back on the passage of the bill, its effects on everyday Americans, how Democrats can use the bill against Republicans in the midterms, and Elon Musk’s pledge to form a new political party. - Aired on 07/05/2025.

I am not very familiar with Rep. Ivey, but he is a good spokesperson for the party. I absolutely agree that we have to hammer the republicans who voted for this bill while knowing how much it will hurt their constituents. They are too cowardly to challenge trump.

I truly hope that you are feeling better. We sure miss you on the forum, but, as always, real life comes first.

And I'm not all that familiar with Rep. Ivey, either, but I agree that he's a good spokesman and I'd trade him in a New York minute with the one I'm currently stuck with. Given this despicable bill, I'm hoping against hope that her time is finally up!
