Related: About this forumRep. Jasmine Crockett on The View: Juneteenth, Justice & Calling Out GOP Lies - Rep. Jasmine Crockett
On The View, Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) breaks it all down from the GOPs obsession with distraction politics to the very real threats facing democracy today. She connects the dots on Juneteenth, civil rights rollbacks, political violence, and how Trumps reckless leadership fans the flames of hate and division. From calling out hypocrisy to defending the Constitution, Rep. Crockett shows why shes one of the fiercest voices in Congress right now. - Aired on 06/19/2025.

Texas had its first paid government Juneteenth holiday in 1980. We need more people in government like her.

I only wish there were more like her - and I wish she was my Rep. I may be in New York, but I have Stefanik.

I'm grateful that she's speaking out and getting publicity because of it. She's educating voters to what they should expect from their representatives.
