"Merrick Garland is the greatest failure of an Attorney General in the modern era."

My comment on MSNBC 3 weeks ago and now backed up by Jack Smith's report. Smith had tons of evidence to convict Trump but Garland prevented for more than a year an investigation into Trump

An issue that may never be settled to everyone's satisfaction.

to appear independent of the judicial, the result has been catastrophic. The intention was good but the result will have long lasting effects.

was a total failure, more than that, it was a smokescreen to not investigate Trump and his inner circle.

Jack Smith says it in his report. Trump would have been convicted of serious crimes had he been prosecuted in a timely manner.

It was nearly 2 years before Garland went after the top dogs. He shit canned criminal referrals made by the J6 committee to prosecute Ken Chesebro and Mark Meadows.

Mind you, I really love his program but didn't initially agree with him about Garland. From very early on he felt Garland was a total failure. I still held out hope, and when Garland put Jack Smith on the case I was furious that Dean kept going after him--I naively felt like Garland had finally done the right thing.

But I eventually accepted that Dean Obeidallah was right.

who are we supposed to believe, Jack Smith or Marcy Wheeler?

The Jack Smith report vindicates all of the people who have been criticizing Merrick Garland for 4 years.

The Jack Smith report lays the blame where it belongs.

She tended to defer to Garland's institutional expertise and conscientiousness in following the protocols.

I’m convinced that misogyny is at the bottom of all of this. Anti-woke means anti-women.

John Mitchell was a lying piece of shit bagman for the odious Richard Nixon. Garland is not bent, but rather is a meek little man who was afraid to do his job. Neither one of them should have been placed in the position of running the DOJ.

Merrick is an absolute epic failure at protecting our constitution and democracy. He did succeeded at destroying it.
