'Stain on his report card': Will Trump dodge any real consequences at sentencing? - The 11th Hour - MSNBC

Judge Merchan ordered Donald Trump to appear for sentencing in his hush money case just ten days before his inauguration. Plus, what does Trump's response to the New Orleans terror attack tell us how his new administration will handle the country? Mary Harris, Evan McMorris-Santoro, Ron Insana, and Melissa Murray join Stephanie Ruhle for The Nightcap on The 11th Hour. - Aired on 01/03/2025.

1. A thorough review of all the transgressions involved with TSF's crimes;
2. The Judge opines from The Bench how heinous and immoral (and illegal) these acts were;
3. If TSF were any other convicted defendant, he'd be sent to jail for _____ years;
4. And even though TSF is about to return to the WH as President, he will be burdened with the label "convicted felon" in hopes that this will at least inspire some reflection, humility, and regret/contriteness; and
5. In the eyes of the Court, TSF will never be a "free man" again.

I didn't watch it (the Last Word) live because I just can't take any more Symone Sanders Townsend. She seems to be replacing everyone right now and a little is okay, but oh my... I can't sleep after the pounding headache she gives me with that way-too-loud voice. Sorry Sanders-Townsend fans, but a little goes a LONG way.

Ruhle sometimes gets on my nerves too, but she's grown on me. She has good guests but I just can't stay up that late. But, I was really looking forward to hearing O'Donnell's take on all this--especially given he attended the trial a few times.
