Gene Hackman, Willem Dafoe, Frances McDormand (!!!!!!), Brad Dourif, and so many others.
It is an astounding film. Yes, it is Hollywood's version of history, but it gets the message across.

They were sick and tired of going after the south for things that were already resolved.
It was a movie that reminded the south of what happened. And here we are in 2016, and if you have an unbiased head on your shoulder, you know that things were never resolved.
poor mississsippi. told the truth on 'em and it felt like hell.
