Most of the time, a written signature will suffice instead of a hanko stamp, and the custom of having 3 different hanko stamps seems to be dying out.

My office is on the 4th floor of its building, so no big deal. However, I've never seen a Japanese license plate that is all 4's.

You don't have to get your waist measured every year if you're over 40. At least, not if you're on the national health insurance plan 国民健康保険制度

Tokyo has all sorts of ethnic restaurants. I've personally eaten at Chinese, Italian, Spanish, Korean, Indian, Thai, and French restaurants in the Tokyo area. Other than those, all you have to do is type in a country name in front of "料理店 東京" in Google search and chances are you'll find at least one restaurant, although several African countries may be lumped together.
